If you are looking for additional resources and support, below are several safe places that specialize in helping LGBT youth.

Provides sexual health help, information, and services for young people, along with offering youth groups that are all inclusive

The Bridge for Runaway Youth

Provide all youth with safe shelter, assist with the resolution of family conflict, and aid in reuniting families whenever possible.  They offer shelter, family and individual counseling, and transitional living resources.

Empowers youth to overcome barriers and strive toward healthy and self-sufficient lives by offering health care, counseling for youth ages 11-23, and programs for homeless youth.

GLBT Host Home Program

Housed by Avenues For Homeless Youth, the GLBT Host Home Program is a volunteer and community based program which recruits, screens, trains, and supports adults who open their homes to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth who are homeless.  While in host homes, youth have an opportunity to work towards self-reliance and to build long-lasting relationships with caring adults.
